1968 SA Guy here
I saw one where they had an electric bike on it which they used with a trailer for times when they had to go ashore for supplies. they'd retired and were so happy.
Anonymous1717822
That's all you really need, or a little row boat to get to the shops, but a bike would be very handy
1968 SA Guy here
yes it worked for them. I'd try to run it on hydrogen.
Anonymous1717822
Or a little whipper snipper motor
1968 SA Guy here
yes, if going down streem that'll work.
1968 SA Guy here
I don't know the law as to how long you can stay in one spot along the river.
Anonymous1717822
By the time I retire, anything is possible
1968 SA Guy here
I was told that law is you can stop for a period of a day or two under maritime laws for repairs and to get supplies. also no one can prevent you from being up to 50m on shore.
1968 SA Guy here
many years still then before you retire?
Anonymous1717822
In township think there's a mooring fee, but along the river think you can stay as long as you like something I'll have to look into, still got many years until then
1968 SA Guy here
yes, something that hopefully isn't restrictive.
1968 SA Guy here
the years will fly by.
Anonymous1717822
Ssshhhh, bite you tongue lol
1968 SA Guy here
yes, don't let the govt. hear, they'll put a stop to it one way or another.
1968 SA Guy here
over 50, the years do seem to just get quicker.
Anonymous1717822
Well I'm hoping nothing will change by the time I'm ready, time fly once one hits 21 lol
Anonymous1717822
They just zooooom by
1968 SA Guy here
yes it seemed to. lol. I went to college with a guy in the 80s that was working on proving that light speed was slowing down and that is why time is speeding up as the solar system gets older.
1968 SA Guy here
his theory had merit.
Anonymous1717822
Yes, all I can say is, let hit the pause button

Looking to Meet Singles in Sydney? You've Come to The Right Place - Free Dating Sydney Australia!

What an amazing city to meet someone and fall in love. Sydney is just as diverse as it is beautiful. With the city centre wrapped around by its beaches, the Harbour and gorgeous waterways, there's more to love than just the singles scene. Sydney's old charm and modern touches presents this town as one of the world's most enviable locations. The city of Sydney is an international icon, and with this, presents a rock-and-a-hard-place for single men and women. The shear size and diversity of Sydney means single people here are time poor. And as such, the online dating scene is alive and active. Juggling busy working lives and other commitments means finding places to meet single men and women is tough. At Free Dating Australia, we connect our members through a variety of matchmaking tools, meaning you get to have more time dating new people instead of browsing through endless profiles. Our Sydney dating website is 100% free and we have members just like you joining us everyday. Get Started Here.

When it comes to dating in Australia, you'd be amazed at the different aspirations and expectations shared by single men and women from city to city. When it concerns Sydney, many view it as the hardest place to meet singles anywhere in Australia.

As Australia's largest city, it brings a cold and harsh feel. Particularly in inner city locations - there are standards and images that must be kept. With this, it might make the world of difference if Sydney Siders dropped the attitudes and even smiled occasionally.

I'm sure you'd agree, constant hostilities and bad manners are certainly not the way to attract friends. Busy people in Sydney could do wonders for their solitary ways if they did the little things that really matter like laughed once in a while.

There also seems to be a much larger focus on wealth and material items compared to other Aussie cities. With any large international city comes certain elements that make life and living tough. Real Estate is over-priced, trying to park your car in city surrounds is a joke, and it can often feel that people just do not have the time of day to pay anyone any attention.

That is until the cover of darkness.

Perhaps finding a relationship in Sydney is a tough assignment. But according to research Sydney is Australia's most fertile city and ripe for casual sex. Let's face it, all this pent up attitude and pretense can't stay locked away forever. So if you're planning a trip to Sydney and looking for fun, do a little research on the hotspots and entertainment hubs - you'll love it!

Sydney might have a reputation as cold and harsh, but I can tell you this, it beats any other Australian city hands down if non-stop fun and kick-arse nightlife is your thing. Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and Bondi Beach is where it's at! A word of warning though, addictive personalities should think twice about partying in Sydney, because you may never want to leave.

Whilst the dating scene in Sydney http://www.sydney.com/ is a tough market to crack, there's plenty of online opportunities, and as Australia's largest city there's more fish in the sea. Free Dating Australia is Australia's exclusive dating alternative for savvy Sydney singles. We are an absolutely 100% free online dating website and look forward to seeing you meet new men and women here.

Below are a few tips for some first date ideas in Sydney.

A Cheap Date

Trying to impress your date on a budget can be harder than you think. The last thing you want is her to think you're a penny pincher. So, here's my tip. Arrange to meet her at the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel on a Friday afternoon after work for a drink. Then venture around Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, through the Botanic Gardens and onto Circular Quay. From here, grab the free shuttle bus number 555 all the way through the city to Central Station. Then depart the shuttle and head down to China Town for the night markets and Yum Cha.

Splash the Cash Date

If cash is no object, spend time together surrounded by beautiful things, fine food and next to no effort. First, pay a visit to Sydney Sports Car Rentals in William St Kings Cross. Rent a Ferrari or the latest 2013 model BMW Z4 for the day. Hop in your sexy sports car and head off to one or two of the cities glamour spots like Bondi Beach or Doyles at Watsons Bay for a sea food platter. After lunch, pull the top off the convertible and go cruising in style to the Northern Beaches for an afternoon swim and a bottle of wine at the Mona Vale Hotel.
