About Me

I grew up on the Atherton Tablelands, on a farm and am I have 7 siblings. I am a country girl at heart, and love the outdoors. I have worked as a bar attendant out in Julia Creek, and have done cleaning, waitressing and Nurses Aide work in the Dementia Care Unit of an Aged Care nursing home. I loved it in the care unit and completed 16 years.

My Interests

I love photography and have a great camera, which I need to dust off and get using it again. I love to swim in the fresh water lakes, though I’m not keen on the swimming pools. I do quite a lot of crossword or other puzzles to help pass the time. I am a quiet person, can make people laugh with my odd sense of humour, and I like road trips, to stop over for a night or two, as a change from being home. I do volunteer work a few days a week to keep myself busy.

My Ideal Partner

I would like to meet a man who is in my age bracket, doesn’t drink or smoke, and is easy to get along with, caring , considerate , charming and has a quirky sense of humour. I would like him be be aware of his nutritional intake, though I’m not overly adamant about that, and outdoor exercise should be a daily or weekly habit. I would like him to be a bit old school, when it comes to how to treat a woman. Respect, I feel should be given by both parties.
