About Me

Hi everyone, I consider myself to be a permanent resident of Adelaide, have acquired trade and professional qualifications (electrical & medical) and am currently employed full time in specialised industrial maintenance. To describe myself, I'm active, approachable, articulate, caring, considerate, engaging, honest, humorous intelligent, sociable and appreciate similar attributes in others. I also try not to over-complicate anything and believe that the simplest things in life are often the best! I enjoy nature, keeping fit & active (in balance with all other priorities), the company of genuine people, intelligent conversation, some travel - particularly within Australia - I appreciate good food and enjoy cooking; most music and love percussion-orientated styles because I'm a drummer. I'm fortunate enough to live independently on property in the Adelaide Hills and do enjoy the tranquillity and opportunities to interact with the natural environment that this provides. I've been married previously and have an adult son who's doing an excellent job of staying sane in a progressively challenging world. Nobody's perfect but my intention is to discover a woman who's authentic, caring, considerate, respectful and genuinely interested in understanding me. My Interests

Human nutrition is an interest area of mine and I've educated myself sufficiently on the topic to integrate a sensible dietary approach. I enjoy cooking and refer to messes regularly made in the kitchen as food art! I enjoy keeping active and when time permits walk, cycle and push weights in a non-fanatical way. I own a drumkit and enjoy practicing percussion when time permits but insist that anyone in proximity wears earmuffs because it sounds better that way! I don't take life too seriously but focus on the things that I believe are important. Like everyone, I keep wondering where the time goes!!
