About Me

I'm honest and have to say I'm not a great catch but I'm a trustwortrhy & loyal friend or companion. My wife of 20 years has found someone else & I find myself having lost touch with too many people over the years so time to build a new life. Life changed for me (for us) in 2008 when I had a brain tumour removed. It was benign but in a bad place. I no longer work although I hope that will change & I walk with a stick for now. A couple of other things I'm happy to be open about, just not publish here. I am overweight from lack of excersize but that's changing fast and I hope won't be a barrier to friendship. I'm open to but not expecting, any more than that. I consider myself reasonably intelligent and was considered good looking by some when I was younger. I'm a little shy at first but fine once I know someone, although sometimes you wouldn't know I'm shy. I have four kids, two boys (6 & 16) with me full time & a 6yo daughter with me three days. The oldest girl is with mum until she goes to university in 2015.

After 20 years of marriage she found someone else & I'm building a new life. I'm looking to meet a nice lady for friendship & companionship. If it develops into something else that's great but it's not what I'm seeking first & foremost. What I'm truly seeking is friendship & companionship. Someone happy to meet for a coffee and whatever mutual interests we share. Someone to watch a movie with or whatever. Sex is absolutley NOT my motivating factor and I'm hoping to one day find a partner who appreciates the difference between sex & intimacy.
