Born in England. I'm a bit of an all-rounder, having worked in various technical professions. Currently working as a soil testing technician. I am a total nerd. A veritable fountain of obscure trivia. Fair warning: My sense of humour has been shaped by The Goon Show, Monty Python, Billy Connolly, George Carlin and Robin Williams... My Interests

I'm interested in almost everything, apart from football, cricket, rugby or any other spectator sport. I enjoy woodwork and metalwork, but I'm by no means a master in either. I read, play computer games, watch old cartoons or science fiction and fantasy movies... Basically EVERYTHING you'd expect from a typical nerd. I enjoy spending time with pleasant company, eating good food and finding new places to explore. Particularly fond of Japanese, Arabic, Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine. I'm a fairly competent cook, so booked-out restaurants won't be an issue. I'm fond of driving to local tourist spots on weekends, but have a particular preference for seaside destinations.

My Ideal Partner

My ideal companion would be an honest, independent and affectionate woman, confident and comfortable with herself as a person. She should be willing to discuss any issues she may have (emotional, physical, financial, etc.) at an early stage of our relationship, rather than allowing them to become a disruptive factor later on.
